Hello, my name is Brian and I want to become a medical DOCTOR. I am 17 years old and studying at Uringi Senior Secondary School in senior one. Prior to Edu Child Foundation Uganda stepping in to support me, I spent 2 years home without any hope of ever going back to school. Our struggle at home started as a result of an unfortunate event leading to my father's death. My father passed away after sustaining serious injuries from a knife attack by robbers. I was just a little boy when it happened. My mother took care of us for a while and tried to hold the family together but she eventually gave up and left us with other distant family members.  I now live with my uncle who has very many children and he is not very capable of taking care of all of us. I love playing football and reading books every time I get the chance.
